New President of Uruguay José Alberto Mujica Cordano appointed Lilian Keshishian to the post of Tourism and Sport Deputy Minister.
According to RFE/RL, Keshishian was the first MP of Armenian origin in Uruguayan Parliament.
Keshishian’s appointment is explained by her great experience in tourism field.
Lilian Keshishian visited Armenia in 2005.
