TEHRAN. – Tehran hosted the 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit on Thursday and Friday, where high-level delegations of 120 member-states and 17 monitoring states, as well as the UN Secretary General participated.

The Armenian delegation head, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian delivered a speech on Friday, presenting the reality for the manipulations realized by Azerbaijan on the 391st paragraph of the summit statement.

The paragraph contradicts to the logic of the negotiation process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, based on three international principles, including non-use of force or threat of force, people’s right of self-determination and territorial integrity, which are the key-stones for the Karabakh peace process.

However, the aforesaid paragraph neglects the right of self-determination and does not use the term ‘the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.’
