Russian-Armenian military relations are of strategic and partnership nature, RF Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov stated at the Jan. 13 meeting with his Armenian counterpart Seyran Ohanyan.

Officials discussed prospects of Armenian-Russian military-technical cooperation expansion, as well as regional security issues, ITAR TASS reports referring to RF Defense Ministry press secretary Irina Kovalchuk.

According to her, the matter on Armenian servicemen training in RF Defense Ministry educational institutions was discussed as well.
