ARTASHAT. – The Police Service of Armenia has instigated a criminal case for illegal hunting. A report was received in Artashat police department in Armenia’s Ararat Region on Tuesday that unknown people have implemented an illegal hunting in Kakavaberd place of the Khosrov forest the same day.

A criminal case was instigated according to Article 294: Illegal hunting and causing large damage” by the Ararat police department and an investigation is underway.

To note, illegal hunting and fishing are punishable by the Armenian Administrative Code.
