YEREVAN. – The Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) board session was held headed by the Armenian deputy Minister of Defense A. Nazaryan on Saturday. Head of the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action in Armenia Johannes Odendaal and head of Office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Armenia Ilona Ter-Minasyan participated in the session.

During the discussion, special attention was given to humanitarian demining capacity, mined areas mapping, special techniques, including the use of drones flying for mine works, as well as issues on establishing Board of Trustees in order to facilitate cooperation with other international donor organizations.
