YEREVAN. – The Police Service of Armenia responded to the statement by environmentalist-activists, who claim that Norik Sargsyan suspected in hunting is subjected into pressures. “Environmentalists have registered a case of illegal hunting near the Khosrov forest. The illegal hunting case was disclosed in a short period of time on Sept. 29, while Garni village resident Norik Sargsyan confessed his guilt. However, environmentalists seemed not to be satisfied by the disclosure as to having another chance to speak up simply. Police claims once again that Sargsyan is a police employee and police has no intentions to sacrifice their employee or even more to close the incident,” police statement reads.
