YEREVAN.- The US dollar continues strengthening its position in the Armenian market but much slower than it used to.

The US dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) made AMD 408.75/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday – a 0.06 percent or 0.16 point increase as compared with Monday. The sales totaled 3.68 million.

The exchange offices buy and sell the dollar at the rate varying from AMD 406 to 410 for $1.

 The U.S. currency makes $1.2938 against euro in the Forex international market.
