YEREVAN. – Armenia became a member in the International Criminal Police Organization (ICPO), widely known as INTERPOL, twenty years ago. And, today, Armenia INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) is one of ICPO’s best agencies.
The Bureau marked its twentieth anniversary on Friday, and the official event brought together senior police officials and guests, Police Media Department informs.
In his welcoming remarks, NCB Head, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ara Fidanyan presented the Bureau’s twenty-year track-record and noted that NCB still is obligated to adhere to its traditional principles and work method.
And by the order of Armenia’s Police Chief, Police Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan, several Armenia INTERPOL National Central Bureau staff members were awarded with incentives.
