STEPANAKERT.- President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan together with Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan visited the village of Mets Tager in the Hadrut Region on Wednesday to participate in the opening of a memorial honoring memory of martyrs perished in the Artsakh liberation war.
President Sahakyan underscores importance of such complexes in NKR regions noting their significance for patriotic upbringing of the younger generation as well as preservation of national values.
President Sahakyan expressed gratitude to those who participated in the construction of the complex.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR Prime-Minister Ara Haroutunyan, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, other officials and guests from Armenia participated in the event.
