Armenia’s Ambassador to Argentina, Vahagn Melikyan, met with Amado Boudou, the Vice President of Argentina. They discussed matters of bilateral interest.

Reflecting on the development of interparliamentary ties between both countries, the interlocutors underscored the need to enhance the activities by the two parliamentary friendship groups that are established.   

Boudou noted that, aside from the economic component, there are vast opportunities to develop cooperation between Armenia and Argentina in the fields of science, education, and culture. In this respect, Ambassador Melikyan informed that a memorandum is being examined in terms of cooperation between the State University of Buenos Aires and the Bryusov Yerevan State Linguistic University. At the same time, José Lino Barañao—the Argentine Minister of Science, Technology and Innovative Production—is expected to soon visit Armenia.    

Also, Armenia’s ambassador conveyed to the Vice President the Armenian National Assembly Speaker’s well wishes and the invitation to Armenia. Amado Boudou accepted the invitation with delight.
