YEREVAN.- Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received newly appointed Greece’s Ambassador to Armenia Ioannis Taghis.

Welcoming the Ambassador, Tigran Sargsyan said despite long history of cooperation, the sides have much to do to strengthen the ties.   

“Armenian government will spare no effort to use the full potential of Armenia-Greece relationship,”Sargsyan said.

In his turn, Ioannis Taghis assured he would do his utmost for strengthening of bilateral relations. Speaking about Armenia’s European integration, Ambassador Taghis said Greece, as an EU member state, is ready to render its assistance to the Armenian colleagues.

The sides discussed development of relations in the field of defense, education and culture.
