YEREVAN. – Armenia’s First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan on Thursday received the Czech Republic Chargé d’Affaires Petr Mikyska and newly appointed Military Attaché, Colonel Sebastian Lemaš, in connection with the latter’s appointment to this office.       

Tonoyan congratulated Colonel Lemaš on his designation and expressed a hope that the Armenian-Czech defense cooperation will gain a new momentum following his appointment, Armenian MOD press service informs.

In his turn, Petr Mikyska noted that the Czech MOD attaches a great importance to cooperation with Armenia and the Czech Republic stands ready to further enhance this cooperation. 

The interlocutors discussed bilateral cooperation and regional security matters.
