YEREVAN.-  Armenian former president Robert Kocharyan’s office dismissed rumors about his meeting with President Serzh Sargsyan.

In an interview with Mediamax agency, head of the office Viktor Soghomonyan said the reports are untrue.

“Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan didn’t meet and Robert Kocharyan was in Canada on the day the rumors emerged. I could have confined myself to this much but I would like to ask a rhetoric question: why should Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan have met abroad if they can do it in Yerevan? I suggest the fans of the conspiracy theory to give up seeking for secret meetings, especially - abroad. I am sure it’s a completely useless thing to do,” the agency quotes Soghomonyan.
