YEREVAN. – Relatives of the victims of the March 1, 2008, tragic events in Yerevan downtown are going to file a lawsuit against the professor of history, who distorted the tragic events (ten people, including two servicemen, died as a result of peaceful demonstrations in downtown Yerevan on March 1, 2008).

The author of the book, Dean of the History Department at the Yerevan State University Edik Minasyan has distorted the reality, mother of one of the 10 victims Tigran Khachatryan, Alla Khachatryan told Radio Liberty.

“It is forbidden to write about the topic as if it is already history when the investigation of the events is still underway,” she claimed.
