Secretary of the RA National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan held a meeting with a delegation of the Organization for Cooperation and Security in Europe (OSCE) led by Talgat Kaliyev, Chairman of the Foreign Policy Analysis and Forecast Committee of Kazakhstan.

The press office of the RA National Security Council told NEWS.am that Kaliyev informed Artur Baghdasaryan of the steps Kazakhstan plans to take as OSCE chairing country. He stressed that, as OSCE chairing country, Kazakhstan pays special attention to the Caucasus.

The sides discussed Armenian-Kazakh cooperation within the OSCE. Baghdasaryan expressed the confidence that Kazakhstan’s chairmanship will intensify the OSCE’s activities. He stressed that Armenia is for long-term peace and stability in the region.

Kaliyev reported that the OSCE Chairman-in-Office intends to visit Armenia as part of his regional trip.
