YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ambassador to Canada, Armen Yeganyan, on Wednesday met with Mayor Marc Bureau of the City of Gatineau, Quebec.    

Yeganyan briefed Bureau on the current state of affairs in Armenian-Canadian relations stressing high tech and culture, which unite the two countries, Armenian MFA press service informs.  

The interlocutors discussed the activities in Armenia of the Gatineau-based renowned Macadamian Technologies company, whose Armenian capital city Yerevan branch employs over sixty specialists at present.

In his turn, the Gatineau Mayor briefed Armenia’s ambassador on the current activities by Gatineau City Hall.   

The parties highlighted the need to develop municipal and cultural ties.
