YEREVAN. – Ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) delegation, including RPA deputy head Armen Ashotyan and RPA Council member Arman Sahakyan, who participated in the 25th congress of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) of Germany, have returned to Armenia.

Ashotyan and Sahakyan met with the CDU MP Philip Misfelder, deputy head of the CDU parliamentary group in the Bundestag Andreas Schockenhoff and CDU group secretary Manfred Grund. During the meetings, they discussed the RPA-CDU perspectives on enlargement of cooperation, regional developments, the Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] peace process, Armenian-Turkish relations, reform implementation process in Armenia and issues on the upcoming presidential elections in Armenia.
