YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Attorney General Aghvan Hovsepyan has convened a consultation on Friday regarding observed abuses of allocation from the State Budget intended for the reconstruction of works of the National Library, as well as two schools in Armenia’s Shirak Region and Masis city. As a result of the criminal cases instigated on the issue, some problems raised regarding their investigation. 

The Attorney General claimed that some problems were risen during their investigation, which are concerning. It is due to the fact that allocations from the State Budget were not used properly and disappeared due to improper task implementation. At the same time, the most important issue is the seismic resistance of those buildings.

During the consultations, Hovsepyan assigned Police Investigative Main Department to secure multisided, full and objective investigation.
