YEREVAN.- Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) denied any involvement in wiretapping and dissemination of the conversation between the Armenian National Congress (ANC) MP Levon Zurabyan and Prosperous Armenia (PAP) MP Vartan Oskanian.

“Armenia’s National Security Service cannot have any relation to the wiretapping and dissemination of the conversation. All accusations against the service are ungrounded,” the service said in a statement.

The conversation between Zurabyan and Oskanian was posted on Youtube by anonymous user. The main topics covered were ANC members’ attitude towards cooperation with PAP, upcoming presidential elections and possible nomination of a candidate from ANC. After being posted on Youtube, the recording was spread by media outlets.

Levon Zurabyan and ANC member Nikol Pashinyan accused NSS of wiretapping and spreading of personal conversations which contradicts the Constitution.
