In Yerevan New Year rush has already caused injuries. As Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by press-service of the police, at about 7:45 pm. on December 23, it was reported that 54-year-old Robert P. turned to the hospital with harsh injures of his right hand. The man’s first and third fingers were completely unattached to his hand because of an explosion.

It turned out that the cause of the injury was the man’s love to pyrotechnics. On the same day at about 5 pm. he tried to pop a firework, which turned out to be of a very poor quality. The wounded man was unable to give testimony.

Another incident occurred on the night of December 23. The hospital reported to the police department of Kotayk that four residents of one of the houses in Hrazdan were delivered to them. It turned out that they were poisoned by carbon monoxide. The cause of the poisoning was faulty stove.

The facts of the incident are being investigated.
