The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia Derenik Dumanyan has received the director of Armenian branch of “Doctors without Borders” mission union Annabelle Djeribi and medical coordinator Saif Al Kayoumi.

The press service of the Ministry of Health informs that while greeting the guests, the minister noted they have passed a long way with the union on discovering tuberculosis, diagnosing and curing it.

Annabelle Djeribi presented the mission, the progress and new initiatives of the program.

The director of the mission informed the Minister that in February 2013 they are planning to organize the first visit of new team of surgeons to Armenia.

The parties also discussed the allocation of medicines, surgical instruments import, the expansion of the program and cooperation and a number of other issues.
