Armenian Police continues clarifying and updating the data of the state population register.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed at the press service of Police, the next stage of the work has been summarized on December28.
In particular, the police visited 9,641 apartments. In the 7,175 cases it was explained to the citizens about the need for re-registration - deregistration of non-existent address and registration of the new place of residence. In the 2,484 cases, measures to detect citizens failed. As a result, 1,069 people were registered at their new place of residence. By the order of the Armenian Police Service Chief Vladimir Gasparyan, the addresses, where more than 10 people are registered, have been highlighted.
The police also visited the 8,774 addresses in Yerevan and regions, citizens were not found in 746 addresses, and 278 addresses had not owners, as they were institutions or places of public interest.
