February 3, RA President Serzh Sargaysn held a meeting on check to prices in Armenia.
“Price level is in the RA Government limelight and we have to undertake measures for its restraint,” RA Premier Tigran Sargsyan said in the National Assembly, commenting on the remark by Heritage faction MP Armen Martirosyan that 40% gas tariff raising might spiral prices to new heights.
During his speech, Premier evaded a question about gas tariff raise from April 1, 2010.
