YEREVAN.- This Saturday, the Minister of Health Derenik Dumanyan once again met with Syrian-Armenian doctors who have recently emigrated from Syria. The main topic of discussion was the question of their employment. The meeting was attended by nearly 50 doctors, 20 of who are already employed.

During the previous meeting, the group of Armenian experts from Syria expressed a desire to open a private clinic. This time the Ministry’s support was discussed, and Derenik Dumanyan gave specific instructions to his deputies.

Once again, the collected data on the Armenian partners in Syria was updated. During the discussion, one of the doctors said he agrees to work in the region closest to the capital. Jobs have been offered to several dentists and two pharmacologists.

Some leading experts also expressed willingness to be engaged in educational work in the Medical University after M. Heratsi in Yerevan and medical colleges.

Derenik Dumanyan assured that the issues raised during the meeting will get their solutions, and all specialists will be offered jobs. For this Minister promised to negotiate with private manufacturers. At the request of Syrian-Armenian doctors, the meetings will be held every first Saturday of each month.
