YEREVAN.- Armenia’s Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan left for Berlin on Wednesday to participate in the work of Global Forum for Food and Agriculture 2013.
The forum is titled “Responsible investment in the food and agriculture sectors – A key factor for food security and rural development.” The event coincides with the International Green Week Berlin which brought together representatives from over 70 states, including Armenia.
Armenia’s pavilion will present production of 15 companies (brandy, wine, juices and canned food).
During his visit, Sergo Karapetyan will meet with Berlin Mayor Klaus Wowereit. He will also attend the opening ceremony the International Green Week Berlin exhibition.
The Minister will be received by Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection Ilse Aigner to discuss prospects of bilateral cooperation.
