This Wednesday, the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the PACE temporary committee on pre-election observation mission delegation.

The press service of the president informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the President Serzh Sargsyan noted that Armenia values highly the membership to the Council of Europe and all the responsibilities that come with the membership.

During the meeting, the Parliament and Local Government elections were also discussed. The members of the delegation noted that those were serious steps to development. According to the president, this all was highly influenced by CoE monitoring, for which Serzh Sargsyan expressed his gratitude to the organization and highlighted his hope for a deeper cooperation. Serzh Sargsyan also noted that every effort has been and will be made to make sure the Presidential elections are held better than any other elections in the history of Armenia.
