YEREVAN.- Armenia’s Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan participated in the meetings of Global Forum for Food and Agriculture 2013 held in Berlin.

A number of issues, including the new approaches and opportunities for investments in agriculture sector were discussed.

The Minister visited Armenian Embassy and met with the representatives of local Armenian community. He also held a number of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Russia, Israel, Lithuania, Estonia and Georgia to discuss prospects for cooperation in agriculture sector.

Sergo Karapetyan also met with the head of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations José Graziano da Silva.
