YEREVAN.- President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan paid 17 foreign visits last year, says the 2012 report presented by the Armenian MFA.
Armenia was visited by three presidents of foreign states, president of the Council of Europe and president of the European Commission.
Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan had five foreign trips. Armenia was visited by three speakers. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan had five foreign visits and two foreign premiers visited Yerevan.
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian had 44 foreign trips. Armenia hosted 27 foreign ministers and heads of international organizations.
The visits were efficient in terms of reaching arrangements and signing 105 international agreements and other documents. In 2012 Armenia established diplomatic relations with four states.
