YEREVAN. - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent condolences to President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff, on the tragedy that occurred in the city of Santa Maria in the province of Rio Grande do Sul, which caused many casualties.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed at the press service of the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan expressed condolences to the families of the victims and to the friendly people of Brazil, wishing patience and courage.

Note that due to the tragedy in the Brazilian city of Santa Maria, where 233 people died in a night club because of a fire, the country declared a three-day nationwide mourning. In Rio Grande do Sul province the mourning will last for a month.
