YEREVAN.- Armenia first of all needs many new high-paying jobs, president Serzh Sargsyan said addressing voters in Vardenis, Gegharkunik Region.

“I am convinced that the way to secure Armenia can be provided only through joint efforts,” he said, adding that it is necessary to provide decent living conditions for everyone, Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from Vardenis.

He said Armenians are not lazy to rely only on charity. Therefore, the key problem is to create as many well-paid jobs as possible. Recalling about a 7-percent economic growth registered last year, presidential candidate Sargsyan said they must think about creation of new industries.

The government is doing everything to produce goods here not to import production, he emphasized.
