YEREVAN. - Several existing problems in Armenia in the sphere of human rights protection and the progress in this direction was discussed this Thursday between the Chairman of the parliament’s standing committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs Elinar Vardanyan and the Head of Council of Europe office in Armenia Oleksandr Pavlyuk.

The sides noted the importance of existing cooperation experience, discussed the prospects of further strengthening, and also touched upon introduction of the necessary mechanisms in Armenia. Oleksandr Pavlyuk expressed willingness to cooperate within the framework of implementation of specific programs.
