YEREVAN. – Twelve international and 26 local organizations will carry out observation missions during the presidential election to be held in the country on February 18.

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Central Electoral Commission website that a total of 6,251 local and 632 international observers will monitor the vote.   

In addition, 60-70 foreign journalists will cover the Armenian presidential race.

To note, the election campaign season had kicked off on January 21 and it wrapped up on Saturday.
