YEREVAN. – As of 11am, the voter turnout in Monday’s presidential election in Armenia stands at 10.92 percent, and 275,986 voters have already cast their ballots, Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Vice Chairwoman Laura Galstyan informed.   

In capital city Yerevan, the voter turnout is at 10.5 percent (86,601 voters).

And the voter turnout, in line with the regions, is as follows:

Aragatsotn Region - 9.99% (11,422)

Ararat Region - 14.46% (30,817)

Armavir Region - 8.41% (18,887)

Gegharkunik Region - 12.85% (23,970)

Lori Region - 11.68% (27,775)

Kotayk Region - 9.76% (22,699)

Shirak Region - 7.96% (18,244)

Syunik Region - 15.13% (16,613)

Vayots Dzor Region - 9.68% (4,573)

Tavush Region - 13% (14,385)

The voter turnout in Armenia’s second largest city, Gyumri, is 7.18 percent (9,016 voters), and in the third largest city, Vanadzor, this is at 11.16 percent (10,780 voters).

At 3pm, the CEC will publicize the voter turnout results for 2pm.
