YEREVAN. – As of 2pm, the voter turnout in Monday’s presidential election in Armenia stands at 33.09 percent, and 83,6710 voters have already cast their ballots, Central Electoral Commission (CEC) said.

In capital city Yerevan, the voter turnout is at 29.87 percent (24,6352voters).

And the voter turnout, in line with the regions, is as follows:

Aragatsotn Region – 36.18 % (41351)

Ararat Region – 38.53% (82,401)

Armavir Region – 28.93% (64,976)

Gegharkunik Region – 38.25% (71,330)

Lori Region – 56,433 votes

Kotayk Region – 30.02% (69,806)

Shirak Region - 7.96% (18,244)

Syunik Region – 40.09% (44,008)

Vayots Dzor Region – 33.72% (15,930)

Tavush Region – 39.53% (42,883):

The voter turnout in Armenia’s second largest city, Gyumri, is 25.35% (31,897), and in the third largest city, Vanadzor, this is at 32.45 percent (31,374):.

At 5pm, the CEC will publicize the voter turnout results.
