The observer for the “Europe in Law Association” Narine Esmaeli has been taken to the police in Armenia in connection with the incident of ballot stuffing at a polling station 17/05 in Ashtarak during presidential elections, Media Center reports.

According to organization, despite the fact that the organization has already sent its lawyers, journalists have recorded that the “observer was forcibly taken away, and she was very nervous.”

According to the lawyer of the organization, Elena Sahradyan, the CEC head Tigran Mukuchyan said that an observer under the name Narine Esmaeli did not exist, however Sahradyan assured that Narine has been certified by the CEC and was a certified observer.

“We declare that this observer exists and she witnessed a violation,” Sahradyan said.

Recall that journalist Artak Hambartsumyan said that a group of young people of 25-30 years old broke into the polling station 17/05 used violence against him and observer Narine Esmaeli, stuffed the ballot box with a large number of voted ballots.
