YEREVAN. – The three-time World Chess Olympiad champions of Armenia have congratulated Serzh Sargsyan for winning Monday’s presidential election in the country.

“We are proud that you, who at the same time are the Armenian Chess Federation President, will continue to lead our country.

It is impossible to overestimate your role in Armenia’s triumphs. Despite your huge workload, you find the time to lead our chess organization, and the victories of Armenia would be impossible without your support.     

We are confident that your human and practical attributes will be manifested in the position of the leader of the Republic of Armenia.  

We wish you new accomplishments, for the glory of our Motherland,” the congratulatory message reads in particular.
