This week OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Kazakh Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev will start his regional visit to the South Caucasus.
February 14, Saudabayev intends to visit Azerbaijan to meet President Ilham Aliyev, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov and local parties’ leaders.
The meeting with Azerbaijani FM will be followed by joint briefing. Thereafter, Saudabayev will leave for Yerevan and Tbilisi.
This year Kazakhstan is presiding in OSCE. As NEWS.am reported earlier, at the UN Security Council meeting in New York Saudabayev stated that in the course of its presidency Kazakhstan will spare no effort into the solution of protracted conflicts, particularly on the territory of former Soviet republics.
