YEREVAN. – In an interview with Zhamanak daily, Alexander Amaryan, the head of the center for aid and rehabilitation to the victims of destructive cults, informed that new religious sects, which are among the charismatic churches, have penetrated into Armenia

“One [of them] is called ‘The Brides of God,’ the other, ‘Living Faith.’ At one time, both were funded by the same organization, but ‘faith’ left in 2004 and, now, it started to work alone.

‘The Brides of God’ sect is a branch of a namesake sectarian institution located in [the Ukrainian capital,] Kyiv, which [that is, the branch] is led by a woman living in Africa.

According to experts, sectarian institutions are funded from abroad, primarily from the US,” Zhamanak writes.
