YEREVAN. – Session of the political board of the Armenian coalition government’s junior member, Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) Party (RLP), ended on Monday evening.

The participants discussed the presidential election, which was conducted on February 18, and the post-election developments.  

Based on the session results, the political board adopted a statement, RLP press service informs.

“Being a ruling political force, RLP states the need for, and the imperative of, carrying out unwavering reforms in the country. 

The party states that, at the second phase of his tenure, [incumbent President] Serzh Sargsyan will do the utmost to implement the pre-election platform that was formed with joint efforts, expecting bold and decisive changes from the president of the country.   

Orinats Yerkir Party states that it will continue to carry out maximum efforts to propel the ongoing reforms in the country even more unequivocally,” RLP’s statement reads in particular.
