YEREVAN. – Due to the ongoing military operations in Syria, several thousands of refugees have found refuge in Armenia.   

In parallel to the measures being implemented by the Armenian state, the “Mission Armenia” NGO likewise is providing assistance to the refugees from Syria. And, in this connection, the German Embassy in Yerevan allocated 20,000 euros to “Mission Armenia” toward providing humanitarian aid to these refugees.   

German Ambassador Reiner Morell and “Mission Armenia” NGO Chairperson Hripsime Kirakosyan formally signed, at the Embassy on Friday, the agreement on providing assistance.
