YEREVAN. – Armenian capital city Yerevan Municipality accepted the notifications by Armen Martirosyan, the authorized representative of opposition Heritage Party Chairman Raffi Hovannisian—who is declared runner-up to the winner, incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan, as a result of the presidential election on February 18, but who claims to be the real winner in the vote—, with respect to holding assemblies, on Liberty Square, between March 11 and 25.   

According to the notification, the assemblies on March 16, 17, 23, and 24 will be held from 3pm to 7pm, whereas on the other days, between 4pm and 7pm. 

To note, the Yerevan city hall had earlier accepted Martirosyan’s notifications in regards to conducting assemblies, again on Liberty Square, from Saturday to March 10. The assemblies on Sunday and on March 8, 9, and 10 will be held from 3pm to 7pm, whereas those on March 4, 5, 6, and 7, will be conducted between 4pm and 7pm.
