YEREVAN. - The Yerevan “Nemo” dolphinarium will be dismantled. The director of the dolphinarium Lilit Sahakyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am, that the operating time of the dolphinarium has come to an end and the animals have already been transferred to Ukraine. The last performance took place on February 9.

The dolphinarium has been functioning since December 2010. Four dolphins and two marine seals were brought to Armenia.

Note, that Armenian environmentalists numerous times to objected the idea, saying the dolphins would not survive in Armenia and that the conditions created by the dolphinarium do not correspond to the ones needed for the animals.
