February 15, RA National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan, who is on a working visit to France, held a meeting with French Secretary General for National Defense Francis Delon. The officials discussed the activities of the Armenian National Security Council and French National Defense Committee, as well as possible cooperation frames, RA NSC Press Service informed NEWS.am. The two arranged to establish cooperation between the Armenian and French security councils.
The sides touched upon the current problems in the South Caucasus, Armenia-Turkey reconciliation and Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. Baghdasaryan presented Armenia’s positions on these issues, stressed the country supports the improvement of relations with its neighbors, establishment of long-lasting peace and stability in the region.
RA NSC Secretary also held a meeting with Jean-David Levitte, Diplomatic Advisor to the French President The officials discussed bilateral relations and regional problems, as well as Armenia’s integration with Europe.
