YEREVAN. – During Wednesday’s special session of the Armenian Central Electoral Commission (CEC), the latter examined the Arakelutyun (Mission) Party’s documents that were submitted to register its list for the capital city Yerevan Council election which is slated for May 5, and, as a result, the CEC decided to give the party 48 hours to complete the submitted documents.
The aforesaid period ends on Friday at 2pm.
According to CEC Secretary Armen Smbatyan, it was found out that the documents submitted by the Mission Party did not include the receipt pertaining to the payment of the lawfully required election deposit, which is in the amount of 3,000 times of the minimum wage.
