So, with a proposal by the Diaspora Ministry, the Government of Armenia decided to make an exception for these Syrian Armenians and, as a result, to issue them new driver’s licenses that will be valid for one year. The respective draft decision is included in the agenda of Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.
Thus, Syrian Armenians will be able to get a new driver’s license, but without taking a driving exam.
