YEREVAN.- Employment agency of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has recorded 3,000 vacant jobs, Labor Minister said.

During the Thursday government session, Artyom Asatryan responded to a remark by Premier Tigran Sargsyan.

Premier noted that the Employment Agency data should be fully available to the public, as the issue of jobs remains number one problem. Sargsyan said it is necessary to conduct retraining and implement a more active employment policy.

In response to Premier’s remarks, Artyom Asatryan noted that the ministry is implementing a program of retraining. It is performed in two ways: retraining by specialized organizations based on framework agreement, and, secondly, direct work with employers. After receiving trainings, the staff are provided with job for least a year.
