YEREVAN.- Secretary of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction Hovhannes Sahakyan hopes that the dialogue between President Serzh Sargsyan and leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian will continue.   

During the Thursday press conference, RPA representative recalled that there was a meeting and exchange of correspondence. Raffi Hovannisian heeded the calls to end a hunger strike, he added.

“I hope the discussion of problems will continue and the meeting will take place,” Sahakyan noted.

Speaking about Raffi Hovannisian’s rhetoric, the MP from ruling party said the opposition leader is known to make impulsive statements.

“In any case, there must be a peaceful way,” he said.
