YEREVAN. – According to some information, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Mikhail Baghdasarov, who is the proprietor of Armenia’s Armavia Airline Company, have met on Thursday, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.    

“The same sources inform that Baghdasarov is attempting to get some clarifications on his future courses of action and, also, on his [future] public statements. So far, Baghdasarov is silent with respect to the uproarious processes that are taking place around his businesses over the last period, and the scandalous bankruptcy of Armavia.  

The Armavia news service did not deny the information that Baghdasarov is selling all of his businesses in Armenia and leaving Armenia. 

[But] the Armavia news service denied the information that Baghdasarov is preparing to build a new airport in Romania, and added that, at present, Armavia is registering its passengers and the costs of the tickets they had purchased will be refunded to them in April,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
