YEREVAN. – The opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Faction of the Armenian National Assembly (NA) issued a statement, and informed that it will not attend Tuesday’s NA special session.

“The obstacles standing on the way of establishing justice in the country undermine the faith and confidence in the future.

Despite these realities, the working authorities remain self-contained toward the societal demand to carry out systemic, radical changes.

Based on these confirmations, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Parliamentary Faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia [hereby] states that:

1) It will not attend the National Assembly’s [Tuesday,] April 9 session devoted to the swearing-in ceremony of the president, [and]

2) It will manifest an equivalent approach, if the authorities take steps to carry out reforms,” the ARF Faction’s statement specifically reads.
