YEREVAN. – The inauguration of Serzh Sargsyan, who was reelected President of Armenia as a result of the February 18 elections, will be held on Tuesday.  

This will be the sixth swearing-in ceremony of a President of Armenia. As a result of the 2008 elections, Sargsyan was elected third President of Armenia.

The inauguration will be held during the National Assembly (NA) special session which, in this connection, will be convened at capital city Yerevan’s Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex.

Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, First Lady Rita Sargsyan, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan, NKR former President Arkadi Ghukasyan, Security Council members, representatives of diplomatic missions in Armenia, and senior officials from numerous countries and organizations will attend the NA special session.
